Abbie joined the firm in June 2015. Abbie is based in the Legal Solution Centre's (LSC) Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team.
The LSC encompasses a team of embedded lawyers, legal executives, paralegals, apprentices, project managers, data analysts and client co-ordinators. The LSC use flexible resourcing and time-saving technology to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service for large scale volume projects.
Abbie's key clients encompass sectors such as financial institutions, energy and natural resources and retail and consumer clients.
Abbie's fee earning portfolio predominantly includes defended commercial litigation claims, including claims based on breaches of consumer and contract law, harassment and discrimination. Additionally, Abbie is developing a focus in data protection and cyber security disputes.
Abbie has over 10 years of dispute resolution experience. Abbie's role within the team is to use her extensive experience to provide technical supervision and guidance to the team and to provide advice on tactical considerations in order to secure commercially successful results for the firm's clients.
Abbie supervises a team of paralegals running defended litigated consumer claims being pursued against a major financial institution and retail and consumer clients.
