Amy has specialised in transactional construction matters since qualifying in 2006. She has represented a wide range of clients including banks, developers and investors, local authorities and public bodies, landlords and tenants, contractors and consultants from both the private and public sector. Amy provides advice on all aspects of non-contentious construction and engineering law and construction documentation, as well as advising on construction procurement.

  • Further education colleges and universities – on a variety of multi-million pound development programmes on campus, including a new sports centre, a new library, new engineering building, dental outreach centre and extensions to existing buildings
  • A renewable developer – preparing the EPC and other associated construction agreements for the development of numerous on and offshore wind farms, solar energy projects and battery storage projects
  • Nationwide retailers – Advising on, preparing and negotiating the suite of construction agreements for new developments, which includes providing advice in relation to agreements for lease and development agreements
  • A range of developers and funders – in relation to multi million pound commercial developments, including commercial new builds, refurbishments and town centre redevelopments. Drafting and negotiating a number of construction and engineering contracts – from bespoke contracts to those based on standard forms, including JCT, MF/1, ICE, NEC, ACE, GC/Works and RIBA, as well as all ancillary contracts eg pre construction agreements, letters of intent, framework agreements, consultants' appointments, novations, collateral warranties, third party rights, bonds and guarantees.
