Andy is a Director with responsibility for leading the Legal Solutions Centre (LSC). The LSC is our principal team of paralegals, legal executives, data analysts and project managers, providing flexible resource for large client projects.
Andy's role extends beyond the LSC. He is involved in identifying new models for delivery of legal work; increasing our efficiency through application of legal technology and AI; using data to improve service to clients; and delivery of projects.
Experience
Andy joined the firm after a career in UK government services. His former roles include:
- Chief Operating Officer of UK Shared Business Services – a government owned company providing services to a number of public sector organisations. Leading technology and process improvement to establish or enhance services
- Director of the UK Trade Mark Registry – where he overhauled the IT systems underpinning the registry to deliver a step change in performance
- Director of the programme to establish the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority – working with industry, the City and government to run a nationally important, and complex programme to reform civil nuclear clean-up
- Working with the UK Government Major Projects Authority as a peer reviewer of high risk projects and programmes (e.g. the government's Adapting to Climate Change Programme, and UK Borders Agency preparation for the 2012 London Olympic Games).
