Womble Bond Dickinson Partners Claire Rauscher and Sarah Motley Stone will be featured general session speakers at the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys 2023 Legal Education Conference on June 29 in San Antonio, TX.
Rauscher and Stone’s panel, titled “Ethics II – Privilege, Public Records, and Pension Funds … Oh My!” will focus on the nuances of legal privilege and how it applies to the role of in-house counsel.
Claire Rauscher has 25 years’ experience as a white-collar crime litigator, having tried numerous cases negotiated favorable resolutions and obtained dismissals. Her practice includes representing companies in grand jury investigations and related enforcement proceedings, as well as leading internal investigations and providing compliance guidance in areas such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), antitrust, government contracts, qui tam and false claims matters.
Sarah Motley Stone represents and advises corporations, individuals and public entities in business disputes and investigations. Her practice provides clients with trusted, practical advice to manage risk and resolve disputes. She is experienced at coordinating complex, multi-jurisdictional legal defense efforts including class actions and federal and state attorney general inquiries. Stone also serves as the Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Charlotte, NC office.
