For more than 20 years, Cynthia has represented clients in commercial real estate acquisitions and development matters, including leases, purchases, sales, and borrowing. Cynthia has also prepared restrictive covenants for numerous residential housing communities in the Charleston area.
As counsel for developers, owners, and lenders, she has been involved in many multi-million dollar commercial real estate development projects in South Carolina both as lead counsel and as local counsel for out-of-state lenders and borrowers.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Cynthia served as a Certified Public Accountant for an accounting firm in South Carolina.

- Assisted The Daniel Island Company and Carnes Crossroads Associates in the subdivision, planning, financing and sale of land for commercial and residential uses in developments of over 2,000 acres in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
- Represented commercial and housing developers in land acquisition matters, including the creation of restrictive covenants for residential and mixed-use communities in the Charleston area.
- Assisted clients in the closing on the acquisition of land and commercial loans with local and national lenders.
- Represented tenants and landlords in commercial lease negotiations.
