WILMINGTON, DEL.—Experienced commercial and intellectual property litigation attorney Stephanie Riley has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Wilmington-based litigation team.
Riley focuses her practice in all Delaware Courts, including the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, Delaware Court of Chancery, and Delaware Superior Court. Her experience in complex commercial litigation extends to business disputes, including misappropriation of trade secrets, breaches of contract, and tortious interference; consumer protection and RICO claims; constitutional law claims; and pharmaceutical and medical device multi-district litigations. In her role as lead or local Delaware counsel assisting outside counsel, Riley is well-positioned to counsel clients on litigation strategy, especially in Delaware because of her knowledge of Delaware practice and procedures. Riley uses her knowledge of Delaware practice by serving as Delaware counsel assisting outside counsel in intellectual property litigation and other matters before all Delaware courts.
Because of her experience guiding clients through litigation, Riley understands how to counsel and advise clients to avoid litigation. She keeps the clients’ business interests at the forefront to reach the overall best result for each client.

In the Delaware community, Riley gives her time to help domestic violence victims by serving as a pro bono representative for petitioners seeking protection from abuse orders in the Delaware Family Court and also by serving on the Development Committee for the Combined Campaign for Justice. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Delaware Children’s Museum.
