Elizabeth is in planning and infrastructure and has experience advising clients across a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. Elizabeth has experience working on compulsory purchase, rights of way and environmental matters but has particular expertise on planning appeals, having advised on multiple complex planning inquiries having a significant amount of public interest.

Elizabeth has advised in the reporting, drafting and negotiation of complex section 106 agreements and has experience advising on the negotiation of section 278 agreements. Elizabeth also has experience advising promoters on Development Consent Order applications from pre-application through to post-consent.

  • Bristol Airport Limited in its successful appeal against refusal of expansion to 12 million passengers per annum
  • National Highways on the submission and examination of their DCO application for their road improvement scheme between the A1/A421 Junction, Black Cat roundabout and the A428/A1198 junction
  • The promoter of a hazardous waste landfill site on the submission and examination of its development consent order application.
