John McCullough is a global trade advisor who works with clients on international market opportunities to ensure compliance with U.S. international trade laws. John specializes in reviewing clients’ product lines to establish Jurisdiction/Classification determinations, Commodity Jurisdiction and CCATS requests and establish licensing requirements while providing guidance on how to navigate the complexities as they pertain to EAR, ITAR, OFAC, USDA, CDC, and ATF regulatory agencies for both exports and imports.
As a former compliance manager in commercial defense industries, scientific research, and fire equipment industries, John is experienced in setting up and improving internal compliance programs, drafting policies and procedures and managing Voluntary Self-Disclosures.
John is a member of the North Alabama Trade Association (NAITA) and participates in group training functions and roundtable discussions.
John previously served in Air Transporation as a member of the Alabama Air National Guard retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant, duty assignments include Iraqi Freedom, Noble Eagle, and Southern Watch.
