Katie joined Womble Bond Dickinson's Corporate team in Newcastle in September 2021 as a Solicitor Apprentice. Katie has already assisted the corporate team on various matters and supports the team with drafting ancillary documents; due diligence; monitoring data rooms; undertaking legal research and helping with business development.

Katie's experience includes working with:
- Northumbria Coast and Country Cottages, one of the region's most successful holiday letting agencies, on the sale of the business to PE-backed Sykes Holiday Cottages
- Perwyn, on its lead investment in HungryPanda, the leading global Asian food delivery platform
- The management shareholders of UK Land Estates on the majority investment by one of the world's largest property investors
- scarlettabbott, on the investment into it by LDC. Katie was mainly involved in the disclosure process
- The shareholders of Cleveland Containers Limited, on a significant minority investment deal into it by LDC.
