Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Kevin Mangan, Stephanie Riley and Nick Verna will give a presentation on “Intro to Contract Drafting: Learning from the Tales of Litigation Past” at the Association of Corporate Counsel Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s 14th Annual In-House Counsel Conference. Incyte Corporation Corporate Counsel Director Nina Blackshear will join Mangan, Riley and Verna in the panel discussion.
In drafting a contract, it is important to anticipate litigation. The speakers will discuss common terms or provisions and considerations that can impact, drive, or, best yet, avoid litigation. The panel will discuss best practices and considerations for contractual provisions, including indemnification clauses, venue, choice of law, dispute resolution provisions and other commonly used provisions.
The conference takes place May 4 in Philadelphia.
