Maan Sangid is a member of the Corporate and Securities team in the firm’s Tysons, Virginia office, where he advises on mergers and acquisitions for clients in a variety of industries, including technology and media.
He has experience drafting professional and master services agreements, consulting agreements, software agreements, purchasing agreements, master lease agreements, platform distribution agreements, and advertising inventory sale agreements. Additionally, Maan has experience in corporate privacy matters, including the drafting of privacy policies and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliance.
Maan received his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and BS in Finance from George Mason University. During law school, Maan was an intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement. In this role he assisted with enforcement investigations including settlement negotiations and whistleblower complaints. He also served as an extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to attending law school, Maan was an associate in the Risk Consulting Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance department of a large accounting firm. He worked with HHS on the implementation and program integrity of the Premium Stabilization Programs of the Affordable Care Act. He also worked as an intern at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC.
