International law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) is growing its London-based corporate team with the appointment of new partners Rebecca Ferguson and Carl Powlson.
Rebecca and Carl join WBD's UK-wide, award winning, corporate practice, which advises a national and international roster of clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly M&As, IPOs, MBOs, joint ventures, private equity investments as well as growth and development capital fundraisings.
Rebecca joins from Ince where she was Head of Capital Markets. She has over 30 years’ experience of providing specialist advice to London clients across the full breadth of corporate transactions, in particular advising on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and secondary offerings on both AIM and London Stock Exchange's main market. Rebecca also has considerable experience advising on shareholder disputes.
Joining WBD from Shepherd & Wedderburn, Carl has a broad range of experience advising clients on both UK and cross-border corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and general corporate advice. Carl brings with him over 20 years of experience acting for the real estate, TMT, energy and infrastructure sectors.
