Tri is a registered patent attorney whose areas of practice include preparation and prosecution of US and foreign patent applications, patent appeals, patent litigation support, trademark, due diligence evaluations, patent validity and infringement opinions, and counseling clients on intellectual property (IP) strategy.
Tri has experience in a wide range of technologies, including computer software and hardware, information security, autonomous-driving technology, cyber security, video game technology, data storage systems, semiconductors, transistor-level circuits and systems, power converters, medical devices, and mechanical and electromechanical devices and systems.
Prior to his legal career, Tri worked as a software engineer for Raytheon Company developing and maintaining software for aircraft GPS receivers, cryptographic embedded products, classified systems, and test automation. Prior to Raytheon, Tri was a technical staff member for Northrop Grumman Corporation where he worked on multiple R&D programs for contract bidding on projects involving geostationary weather satellites.
