Victoria joined the firm in June 2022 having previously trained and worked as a solicitor at Dickinson Dees between 2002 and 2006 in the Commercial team and having previously worked as an in-house lawyer for the Met Office leading the Contracts team. Victoria is a Managing Associate Practice Development Lawyer for the Commercial team. She has nearly 20 years' experience in drafting, advising and negotiating the full range of commercial agreements both nationally and internationally and in both a private and public sector context.
In her role as a Practice Development Lawyer, Victoria's focus is on ensuring that the Commercial team's lawyers are kept up to date on developments in Commercial law (new case law, legislation and practice changes). She also works to maintain and develop the Commercial team's collection of precedents. Training is another key aspect of Victoria's role and she is responsible for planning and rolling out training to the Commercial team as well as delivering regular training sessions on recent commercial legal developments and workshops covering the use of precedents and practical skills for early career lawyers.
