Will is an associate in the Capital Markets practice group and focuses his practice on bankruptcy and restructuring matters. In all matters, he builds his representation of clients on finding efficient and effective solutions to client issues.
Will’s practice includes counselling financial institutions and corporate clients in bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy related litigation. He frequently represents creditors in cases under all chapters of the United States Bankruptcy Code in Bankruptcy Courts throughout North Carolina. In addition, Will’s practice includes alternatives to bankruptcy, including receiverships and other state-law based restructuring alternatives. Will frequently advises and aid clients on creditor rights issues both in and out of bankruptcy.
In addition, he has an active state court practice where he represents financial institutions and other creditors in state court litigation proceedings throughout North Carolina.
Prior to joining Womble Bond Dickinson, Will served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph N. Callaway in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina where he gained valuable experience and insight into bankruptcy litigation and general restructuring issues.
