RALEIGH, N.C. (September 25, 2023) – Womble Bond Dickinson announced today that Hideki Akiyama has joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities group in Raleigh. A trusted advisor to Japanese companies doing business in the U.S., Akiyama focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, labor and employment matters, and dispute resolution. He grew up, studied, and has worked in the U.S. and Japan and is well-versed in the cultural and structural differences of doing business in both countries.

“Hideki is a great fit for our Corporate & Securities and Japan practices,” said Jamie Francis, Leader of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. “He understands that being a cross-border attorney involves more than providing legal guidance – you must help your clients navigate unfamiliar markets and legal systems to find solutions that meet their business goals.”
