RALEIGH—Womble Bond Dickinson partners Benita Jones and Beth Tyner Jones kicked off a conference on Thursday, October 28 for a firm client, North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU).
The duo spoke about the legal impacts of COVID-19 for the NCICU’s annual meeting of Chief Financial Officers. They discussed future implications of COVID-19 related to students and employees, from the rise of labor organization to the growing emphasis on mental health needs.
The conference ran from October 27 through October 28 via Zoom and featured multiple keynote speakers and panel discussions.
