Bond Dickinson has advised long standing client REG Power Management (REG) on its development arrangements with Irish utility ESB to deliver two new wind farms in Scotland.
REG, a developer, owner and operator of renewable energy projects, and ESB, the largest supplier of renewable electricity in Ireland, have entered into a Development Services Agreement spanning two concept-stage wind farms, Knockodhar and Greenburn.
It is anticipated that Knockodhar and Greenburn could together accommodate up to 65 turbines and have a combined capacity of approximately 200 MW.
The Bond Dickinson energy team advising REG on the transaction was led by Corporate partner Sebastian Briggs.
