A partner at international law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has been named at the forefront of the private client sector in a leading trade publication's annual listing.
Neil Long, who heads up the firm's national Private Capital team, has been highlighted in the 2024 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list, a ranking which aims to identify, promote, and recognise leading private client practitioners who provide legal, tax, and wealth planning services for UK and international clients.
Those named on the 50 Most Influential list, which was collated by a professional judging panel, are regarded as leaders in the private wealth field for providing high-quality advice and service for clients while driving forward innovation in meeting the needs of the individuals and families they work with.
Neil, who along with the wider private client team is highly ranked in The Legal 500 and Chambers High Net Worth directories, has been with the firm since 2015, advising individuals, families, charities, and trustees on a range of matters including inheritance and succession planning, and he has a particular specialism in trust and estate disputes.
He is also the current president of TACT - The Association of Corporate Trustees, a nationwide body aiming to further education around trust law and foster a high standard of professional trustee services.
Neil commented:
"It is an incredible honour to be named in the 2024 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list and it is humbling to be recognised for my efforts in an area of law I am particularly passionate about.
However, this achievement is also recognition of the wider team of lawyers and wealth advisors at WBD who play such a crucial role in providing a first class, client focused service to assist our clients in navigating a diverse range of issues both domestically and internationally."
Neil joins other members of the firm's private client team who have made an impact in the sector, with partner Alexander Dickinson previously named in the 2022 and 2021 eprivateclient Most Influential lists.
